Yoga, meditation and my spiritual practice play a vital role in my everyday mental hygiene. I am an initiated Prananadi healer (the Tibetan Buddhist version of Reiki). I work on maintaining a balance between the mind and the body, therefore sports have always been present in my life. I used to do long-distance running, swimming, and horse riding. These days I do yoga, walking, and cycling and I go swimming in cold creeks all year round.
I love movies of different genres, with the most important factor being excellent acting. Painting, cooking and baking are all my creative self-expression and an oasis where I can forget about the trials and tribulations of life.
Last but not least, I have always been fascinated by languages. Apart from speaking one of the most difficult languages in the world as my mother tongue, I am (still) learning English, I am teaching myself Italian. I have also learned some Russian, French, German and Sanskrit. learning foreign languages is like exploring unchartered territories: it is a great adventure!
