Creative Executive, Drama Series

  • For the past 6 years, have been a part of seeing drama series projects through from inception to production.
  • Managing various series including THE PITT, IT: WELCOME TO DERRY (Upcoming), THE CONJURING, GOSSIP GIRL, STATION ELEVEN, THE STAIRCASE and THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT, in addition to more projects in development.
  • Drafted and discuss creative notes with writers, filmmakers, and other executives on all treatments, drafts and cuts.
  • Visit the set frequently for our shows in production, maintaining constant communication with the showrunner and each specific episodic director to ensure a consistent through-line for the series.
  • Tracked, solicited, and evaluated incoming submissions, source materials, and pitches for new development.
  • Meet, evaluate, and report on potential writers and directors that may fit department needs, whether it be an open writing or directing assignment, or staffing for writers' rooms.
  • Track books, graphic novels, comic books, and podcasts for possible development that may fit mandates.
  • Participate in series pitches and general meetings.
  • Cover screenings and festivals for the department to track talent for our projects, most recently the Sundance Film Festival 2024.
  • Liase with cross-functional partners in content scheduling, production, post-production, legal, marketing, and consumer insights from development to onservice launch of projects.
  • Manage and oversee our DC Comics slate, developing a comprehensive, long-term content strategy and distribution plan by leveraging historical brand data and market analytics towards the execution of universe building multi-genre programming for the MAX platform.

  • Oversee HBO MAX's Internship Programs across the year for Fall, Spring and Summer.
  • Managing 6 Interns at a time.
  • Assessing and tracking talent as well as possible development material such as articles, books, graphic novels, etc.
  • Covering screenings and events as needed, and reporting back to executives.
  • Reading scripts and providing coverage.
  • View dailies of our Max Original series in production and create playlists for department head reviews.
  • Build and update tracking grids for projects in development and production.

  • Write up coverage on and track scripts and novels in consideration for development, packaging and open directing assignments.
