• Advocated for patients by supporting and respecting basic rights, values, and beliefs.
• Maintained a safe environment for all patients by adhering to infection control policies and procedures.

• Performed bedside procedures such as wound care, IV insertions, foley catheter insertion and removals.
• Showed flexibility floating to multiple units. Units include Cardiac step-down, Ortho, Short Stay, Rehab, and Pulmonary.

• Monitored and managed various treatment and care interventions.
• Monitor and care for patients post-surgery. Surgeries include mastectomy, prostatectomy, bariatric surgery, gastrointestinal surgery, and thyroidectomy.

6RC Medical Speciality Unit

The 6RC unit is a teaching unit. Clear communication with residents is important for patient care.

6RC is the launching unit for any new evidence-based programs. Patients' therapies include heparin, IVIG, TPN, and insulin.

While at the university, I have floated to 2RC (Surgical Specialty Services), 2BT (Neurological/Epilepsy Monitoring), 3JCP (Stem Cell Transplant and Cellular Therapies), 4JPP (Medical Surgical Oncology), Respiratory Specialty and Palliative Care Unit, and 6JCP (Neuroscience Intermediate Care Unit).
