• As Assistant Retail Operations Manager, I am responsible for the daily oversight of all retail operations, reporting to the off-site General Manager.
• Responsibilities include personnel management, scheduling, controlling payroll, recruiting talent, and training.
• Daily duties include sales and merchandising, creating visual displays, inventory control, ordering and receiving, processing invoices, managing the cash office, maintaining POS and back office data systems, keeping the sales ledger, and reporting cost and labor metrics to HQ.
• Assisted in opening other company units and supporting them with onsite labor and transfers of fixtures and merchandises
• As a company unit supporting a client, I maintained a strong partnership with Marineland through daily customer service and fund raising for the care of their animals. I coordinated with their community outreach manager to curate historical displays and photo opportunity sites to increase attendance and revenue, and I communicate news and sales promotions on their social media and newsletters.

Closing Team Leader - Keyholder (from March 2018)

• As Closing Lead, oversaw total store operation, leading multiple teams. Responsible for driving sales, maintaining brand, customer service, logistics, cash office, maintaining data integrity, resolving and prioritizing guest and operational issues, scheduling, partnering with vendors, asset protection, delegating tasks, performance management, training new team members and managers.
• As Grocery and Cafe Team Lead (March 2012-March 2018) responsible for operation of Cafe and Fresh Produce/Meat Department, maintaining freshness and food safety expectations, partnering with grocery and alcohol vendors, ordering meat, produce and dairy, controlling expenses, training food teams at partner stores.
• As Team Lead (from May 2005-March 2012), responsible for daily operation of various departments, including home furnishings, toys and apparel, in charge of pricing, planograms, merchandising, profit & loss and customer service.

• In charge of small team to implement all store wide price changes, ad execution, promotional materials, setting in-store promotions to drive sales and work through excess merchandise.

• Assisting various editors, responsible for graphic design and layout for Decor Magazine and Life Insurance Selling Magazine. Preparing copy and advertising while meeting deadlines.
