After attending Balfour myself from grades seven through twelve, I returned as an Instructional Assistant for the summers of 2024 and 2025.

• Aided in facilitating daily afternoon sports activities for students in grades seven through nine
• Led my own Recitation class for the twelfth-grade students, which focused on professional development and college readiness
• Served as a chaperone for weekly field-trips for grades seven through twelve

Throughout my full sophomore year at Howard University I was a Team Leader in an organization run by the Howard University School of Business. I led a team of fifteen freshmen through their Business Orientation Course.

• Guided students in their work on a series of business-based projects for their Business Orientation Course
• Held weekly meetings to monitor project progress and coached students on proper presentation etiquette
• Served as the contact between students and a corporate sponsor to teach students how to communicate professionally

I served as a lifeguard for the Yawkey club during the summers of 2018 and 2019.

• Instructed swim lessons for students in grades one through eight
• Assisted with pool supervision during free swim and other lifeguard-led lessons
• Served as chaperone for camp-wide field trips to ensure student safety

I assisted in all activities and classes provided to the 7th grade students

• Assisted in english, math, and computer classes with students
• Engaged in daily sports activities with all students
• Chaperoned field trips throughout the summer
