Experienced farm and equine manager pursuing a career in environmental science with a focus on sustainability, land and natural resource management, and sustainable agriculture.

• Horseback guide, 2001-2012, Worked as head trail guide/wrangler. Duties included management a heard 30+ horses and mules. Maintaining their health, logistics including driving truck and 20 foot gooseneck trailer, scheduling rides/trips, interpersonal relations with clients and ranch owners, maintain records and handling invoicing and payments. Additional duties included riding instruction, horse training, some packing- leading strings of mules, problem solving, and working in adverse weather conditions on sometimes rough terrain, for extended periods of time.
• Assistant Farm Manager, 2013-2015, Duties included assisting the farm manager of a 300 acre wholesale produce farm. Main duties included managing seedings for multiple crops on a conveyor seeder, maintaining planting schedule for crop rotation, managing 5 100’ greenhouses, with 1 million plants in each. Managing transplant crews, harvest crews, and packing crews, focusing on speed and quality, and safe ag practices. Communicating in Spanish and English with workers, calculating seed numbers, ordering seeds and supplies, driving tractors, forklifts and farm vehicles including large box trucks.
• Homemaker/Stay at Home Mom, 2015-2018
• Wenatchee Valley College working toward an Associates in Science and Stay at Home Mom/Homemaker, 2018-2021
• Farm Production Manager, 2022-2023, Duties included overseeing all areas of production for a several hundred acre wholesale produce farm. Main duties including monitoring and managing a crew of 22 employees, managing employees hours to meet requirements and in proportion to cash flow, creating plan for seeding, harvest, and packing schedules within time constraints, working directly with sales to fulfill orders while executing other time sensitive operational farm tasks. Overseeing and monitoring productivity in seeding, harvest, transplant and packing shed, using data to analysis productivity numbers and solve issues in real time, and ensuring proper procedures were being implemented in each area. Collecting, entering and maintaining data and ensuring data quality and standards. As well as creating new methods and programs for recording data as pertained to various aspects of farm productivity and developing improvements for farm management database software. In charge of reaching all seeding, harvest, and packing goals. Providing on-the-job training for new employees as well as conducting monthly worker safety meetings. Working as lesion for HR to Spanish speaking employees. Assisting with H2A program and employees.
• Started a business: Cougar Creek Farm and plan to continue my higher education at WSU working toward a B.S. in environmental science through their global campus in June 2024. Estimated graduation date December 2025., 2023-2024
