Over the last several years I have had the opportunity to serve in a variety of roles in my community. These opportunities have helped me develop a number of skills that I look forward to applying to my career and further development.
Volunteering every Sunday in the special needs children's ministry at BPC with a six year old girl who has Angelman's syndrome which is a form of autism. In my role, I try to make her feel comfortable and also help her be engaged with the other children and adults.
Over 5 years of being in Boy Scout troop 421 in Fairview Park Ohio I participates in a variety of activities including camping trips, volunteer service projects, rank advancement, weekly group meetings, and traveled to Philmont New Mexico where I completed a week long trek.
