Dependable and organized individual known for keeping things clean, structured, and running smoothly in both team and independent settings. I take pride in being someone who can be relied on to get things done right . I am currently an aspiring secondary social studies teacher with almost a full academic year of student teaching experience in an 8th grade classroom. I focus on making history engaging and relevant, while pushing students to think critically and not just memorize information. I try to balance structure with building real relationships with students, because I’ve seen how much that matters for learning. My teaching style is based around storytelling and treating the classroom like we are all on a journey together, where students are not just learning history but experiencing it and making connections along the way. My background in the military and hands-on work has shaped how I approach teaching. I value discipline, preparation, and clear expectations, but also understand the importance of flexibility and reading the room.
