I'm a hard worker with lots of experience in customer service as well as some guiding experience. I am skilled at maintaining a calm demeanor during stressful situations. I've lived in Telluride my entire life, and I have long term stable in town housing. I also plan on being in Telluride for the foreseeable future. I'm open to most positions and extremely flexible with my schedule.
I often at times was the only person in the retail section of the store. I would spend my time mostly maintaining a clean environment, processing shipments, restocking store merchandise , and assisting customer needs on the phone and in person.
This restaurant is a very fast paced work setting, for the most part i'm clearing tables, serving people their food, and polishing glasses and silverware, which isn't many tasks but when we have a few hundred people coming in i'm sprinting up and down the stairs all night bringing clean glasses and food up, and bringing down dirty dishes.
I performed constant safety checks on gear as well as the course itself. I learned lots of motivational skills because the job required a lot of getting kids (and occasionally adults) who didn't want to hike stoked enough to zipline to hike up the mountain . I also became proficient in psychological first aid because we would often have people freaking out, and not wanting to continue in places where the only way down was the zip line. This also helped me learn to be extremely calm in stressful situations, and effective at calming other people down in customer service situations when they aren't as rational as normal due to adrenaline or stress.
