Noah Lansing

I have gained valuable experience in teaching through my work as an art instructor at Sage Community Arts and as a swim instructor for the YMCA. These experiences have not only enhanced my communication skills with adults but also with individuals of all age groups. Moreover, I possess substantial culinary expertise from my previous role as a cook at Qdoba and my current position as a Baker at Java Moon. Additionally, I have extensive gallery experience, having served as both a gallery assistant at Sheridan College and a gallery intern at Sage Community Arts. In my capacity as a gallery assistant, I performed various tasks such as unpacking artwork, shipping artwork, collaborating with visiting artists to set up their exhibitions, maintaining the gallery by painting and spackling, hanging artwork and vinyl displays, and assisting with lighting arrangements. During my internship at Sage Community Arts, I contributed to cataloging artist works and facilitating sales transactions. I also assisted in packing/unpacking artists' pieces while also creating social media posts, pamphlets, and posters for promotional purposes. Lastly, I actively participated in organizing large-scale community art events. Currently, I am pursuing a certificate in graphic design to further my education and skills in an art-related field. I am excited to continue exploring my passion for art and utilizing my experiences to excel in a creative and dynamic environment. I have an Associate's degree in Art from Sheridan Community College (NWCCD) and I am currently working towards obtaining my graphic design certificate. My ultimate career goal is to secure a position in an art-related field where I can apply my skills, creativity, and passion for art to contribute to innovative projects and inspire others through the beauty of art.

In summary, I have a diverse range of experiences in teaching, culinary arts, and gallery management, which have equipped me with a unique set of skills that make me a versatile and valuable asset to any team. Coupled with my pursuit of a graphic design certificate, I am confident that I can bring a fresh perspective and creative solutions to any art-related field that I enter.
