Accomplishments

  • Postal Stamp Design Award: Working on the piece that won the award took many hours. Being my longest project, I took my time with each aspect, making sure that it was visually pleasing and creative. In total I spent around 24 hours to finish the piece which consisted of hands made with metal wire and a worn-down keyboard.
  • The President's Award, Gold (2023, 2021) Silver 2022: Took time out of every week to contribute to community service. This would usually be at church where I would fundraise and provide meals for the elderly within our church and sometimes to the homeless. I attended multiple mission trips as well where we provided food and built shelter for communities in Tijuana, Mexico.
  • Certificate of Congressional Recognition: I created a painting featuring Ahn Chang Ho and his values regarding free speech. I spent weeks researching his accomplishments and implementing them into an original piece that was displayed to the public.
