I am beginning a new chapter by stepping outside my comfort zone, leaving the quiet countryside of North Carolina to pursue my lifelong goal of a career in computer science in Charlotte. I chose this field because technology and its real-world applications have fascinated me since childhood, and it is work I genuinely enjoy—not just a career path, but a true passion. I chose the University of North Carolina at Charlotte for its strong sense of community and the opportunities to learn, connect, and grow both on campus and within the city. This scholarship would allow me to focus fully on my academic and professional development as I continue building the future I envision at UNC Charlotte.
