Biometric Verification Capstone Project
- Designed Arduino circuit to scan in fingerprint and display visual feedback to user - ran at only 5V
- Utilized AutoCAD modeling to design casing for circuit - allowed for a portable product
- Coded parts of corresponding software to securely store biometric data beyond basic methods 100% of time
Integrated Circuit for Game Development
- Designed FPGA circuit using Verilog code to implement ‘Whack-a-Mole’ onto Nexys A7 board
- Also optimized CPU units via Vivado to allow game to run ~22% faster
- User was able to play game directly on the circuit board
AI-Driven Software Project for University
- Worked with Tuskegee University's agriculture department to optimize drone imagery capture of crop fields
- Trained multiple models to automatically detect and crop out plant images to replace manual process
- Cropping model (using YOLOv8) had ~98% accuracy, segmentation model (using SAM) had ~92% accuracy
