Leadership

• Coordination with Dell, SonicWall, FortiGate, Palo Alto and Unifi technical support teams to install, troubleshoot, and replace network hardware.
• Management/Troubleshooting of circuit issues in collaboration with AT&T, Metro Communications, and several regional competitive local exchange carriers (CLECs).
• Meet with leadership for planning, development, and deployment of expansions to existing and upcoming branches.
• Guidance of a peer team with systems analyst and support team in locating, isolating, restoring, and applying long-term corrective actions for local area network/wide area network (LAN/WAN) infrastructure.

Design

• Configure and deploy firewalls and switches (SonicWall, FortiGate, Palo Alto) with VLAN segmentation, security policies, and static routes for each branch.
• Efficient oversight and securing of site-to-site visit VPN administration and remote access by utilizing IPsec and multiprotocol label switching (MPLS).
• Deployment and configuration of virus prevention software for maintenance and safety of existing network infrastructure.
• Creating documentation as well as network maps to assist with design and troubleshooting.

Network

• Provide and manage network connectivity to 18 branch locations, located all throughout the Midwest.
• Manage network for over 500 endpoints including desktops, and phones
• As well as manage over 50 switches over multiple remote locations.
• Oversee security through the use of over 200 Ubiquiti cameras and over 18 local camera systems (UNVR).
• Accountability for configuration and administration of voice primary rate interfaces (PRIs), SIP bindings, plain (POTS), and hosted Avaya private branch exchanges (PBXs)
• Run and install Cat5 cable drops for additional networking hardware

• Respond to requests for technical assistance via the phone and remote electronic control of user systems
• Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
