As a tested multitasker and hard worker, my stay at Bausch Health sharpened my previously obtained skills and helped me tailor them to legal work. I excel in research and analytical tasks, and my proficiency in three different languages, in combination with my experience in working across different teams in a workplace, have made me an adept communicator in teamwork and elsewhere.
My internship in the legal department of the Bausch Health office in Dubai was short but insightful. In my time there, I was tasked with reviewing various types contracts, previous and in process, in order to find ways to ameliorate them. I was at times able to detect ambiguities and uncertainties and I conferred with my supervisor accordingly. I was also exposed to a myriad of clauses concerning data protection and cybersecurity, which represents an interesting and developing part of contract law that I had not been yet been familiarized with in law school. Other tasks I undertook include revising company employee policy in the light of novel legislation, and helping draft advise regarding the effects of termination of a particular contract in the light of legislative requirements.
I interned at the media and marketing company Memac Ogilvy where I undertook several tasks across different teams. I was responsible for drafting daily media monitoring reports to keep clients updated on recent developments in their respective fields, performance reports regarding clients' social media operations, content plans, and more. During my time at Memac Ogilvy, I learned how to strike a right balance in prioritizing and following through with tasks in a timely manner, as well as how to manage my responsibilities towards different co-workers where task priorities might conflict.
I worked as a dermatologist assistant. In that time, I organized patients’ medical records, assisted in medical procedures, followed up with patient inquiries about treatment, and took charge of explaining consent forms and making sure that the obtained consent was adequately informed.
