Nolan A. Wellensiek

Cook,USA

Summary

After graduating high school, I will attend the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where I have been accepted into the College of Engineering. Once there, I will earn a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Engineering with a minor in Water Science. After university, I will return as the 6th generation to operate and grow our family's farm. Another venture I hope to pursue is my aquaculture business, Big Red Shrimp & Co. I started this business when I was 17, and I am now the owner-operator of a fully functioning shrimp farm that raises Pacific White Shrimp here in southeast Nebraska. Once back from college, I plan to expand the business and possibly build a dedicated facility for the shrimp farm.
