I am an NRA certified instructor. I teach Concealed Carry and Handgun Safety Courses in my spare time. I find this to be more of a fun hobby and a public service, than a job. I enjoy teaching and insuring anyone I instruct, will be a responsible and safe gun owner. Students completing my class leave with knowledge of their responsibilities as a concealed carry citizen and a certificate to present to the Sheriff stating they can be considered for concealed carry permit.

I began my career with the Greeley Police Department by attending the Police Academy at Aims Community College. Upon completion, I was assigned to the patrol division. In that assignment i was responsible for patrolling the streets of Greeley, enforcing all laws, making arrests, dealing with all types of calls for service, and completing detailed reports of all my actions.

• Inspected jail conditions and took action to rectify problems in order to meet state and federal regulations for health and safety.
• Took custody of prisoners from arresting officers to begin processing into detention facility.
• Verified identification using specialized databases and methods such as fingerprinting.
• Processed visitors and attorneys arriving to see prisoners.
• Transported prisoners to court for their appearances.
• THIS JOB ENDED WHEN I ACCEPTED A JOB WITH THE GREELEY POLICE DEPARTMENT.

• Negotiated purchase prices and explained sales, warranty and optional products to potential customers.
• This was a short term career adventure I explored in attempt to make a little money. At the time I was still only 20 years old, and I knew I had to be 21 before I could start a career in Law Enforcement.

EAGLE SECURITY offered me my first job opportunity once I was honorably discharged from the Army. I the short time worked for Eagle I was moved up quickly.

My first assignment was an overnight job at a construction site, working loss prevention. During the Christmas season I spent a full month as the MALL COP at The Lakeside Mall. I was uniformed security to be a visible deterent to theft. I was also responsible for detecting and reporting any criminal violations to local law enforcement. The final assignment I held with Eagle Security was at Sundstrand Aviation. I was there to watch employees leave the secure facility to insure there was no employee theft. During other times of the day I handled drving large cash deposits at the bank, and would occassionally transort company VIP's and visitors to meetings and the airport.

I chose to leave Eagle Security because the pay was very low. Selling cars at Rosen Novak Ford seemed like a much better alternative.

MY RANK AT TIME OF DISCHARGE, SPECIALIST E-4. AWARDS RECEIVED INCLUDED EXPERT MARKSMAN, THE ARMY ACHEIVEMENT MEDAL, and an OVERSEAS RIBBON.
