Leaned into the engineering world with high school robotics. The daily hands-on environment and passion for design led me into a Mechanical Engineering Degree. Since then, I've migrated into the field of manufacturing and haven't looked back. I've been honing my skills within Investment Casting and am looking to make an impact in American Manufacturing.
- Spent summer collaborating with plant wide engineers to further understanding the investment casting process and company objectives
- Assigned a summer project: Developed a new wax assembly process for Single Crystal Casting Projects that ensured the control of Primary and Secondary grain orientations.
- Created unique 3D printed fixturing for precise and repeatable wax trees that are still used.
- Lead contact of a 40+ individual product portfolio for the highest sales plant at Hitchiner.
- Responsible for wax, shell and cast processes as well as back end gaging of each product line.
- Independently reworked dimensionally nonconforming wax dies from start to finish and re-qualified product that continues to run.
- Improved overall yield of multiple legacy products by as much as 50% by running samples, iterating off of results and collaborating with production teams to align with timelines.
- Independently managing customer corrective actions and improving processes to address non-conformances.
- Managing brand new product lines and developing entire sequencing flow from the ground up.
