Serving on detail as LB&I’s Strategic Recruitment Coordinator with LB&I Commissioners and Senior Directors, to define, mitigate and manage organizational risks

Support the IRS LB&I Commissioner’s Strategic Diversity Initiative by facilitating an improving the quality and diversity of external and internal applicants for LB&I open positions by serving as project manager

Through my work as Legislative Coordinator I initiated, planned, and organized NTEU’s largest east coast rally in Philadelphia in August of 2018
The event was help next to the Philadelphia Campus, and I coordinated with officials from the City of Philadelphia, Campus Director and security staff and TIGTA
The event included several members of Congress and was attended by NTEU National officials and union members from other cities from Boston to Virginia
This excerpts from this event still is used in much of NTEU’s promotional material
Organized and held several meetings with congressional representatives to speak and advocate on behalf of Federal Employees and the work we do for the country
Represented NTEU on LB&I on DEEO Advisory Committee where I helped to initiate increased participation by Commissioner and Deputy Commissioner
Also led in the creation of the Recruitment and Mentoring sub-committee, which was the first new sub-committee created in over 10 years
I was able to make and lead several presentations to Commissioner and attending LB&I executives regarding the committee findings and recommendations
Coordinated and produced member communications via Chapter newsletters, social media and other innovations
Efforts were recognized nationally by NTEU and chapter was awarded Communications Award in 2019
Efforts were also received positive feedback from majority of membership
This communication network allowed us to mobilize and bus over 100 employees from the Philadelphia area to attend a multi-union rally in DC during the Government Shutdown on only 48 hours’ notice

Participated in local negotiations with FMSS management regarding workspace design and health and safety measures for employees in all BODs for various PODs
Organized several member informational and social activities during my 3-year term, most which had never been done before: Retirement benefit seminars, discounted family trip to Hershey Park (2018), several Chapter sponsored and discounted trips on professional sporting events around the state of PA
Organized and hosted first on-site Health Benefit Fair during 2019 Open Season which benefited both all employees but particularly new hires in obtaining information on their FEHB choices
More than 3/4 of available health plan providers participated in the event
Worked with Labor Relations and management from various divisions, including LB&I to resolve () favorably for employee) several grievances and employee concerns
