MetLife is the world’s leading insurance company providing various insurance products to customers (i.e. life insurance, annuities, health and disability insurances, etc.). Unified Claims System (UCS) is a dental accounts payable application, processing over 3 million transactions every month. UCS supports MetLife’s Group Dental Insurance products for its Institutional/Group customers. (Dental PPO/PDP – Preferred Dentist Program).
The project involves processing the claims received from various channels, including the web through batch cycles. The trial will be generating the Payment Instructions for the Dentists (Providers)/Employees (Patients)/Third party administrators by means of Checks, Draft and EFT’s. It will also be generating the details of benefits available to the patients and providers.Utilized advanced querying, visualization and analytics tools to analyze and process complex data sets.
Applied statistical and algebraic techniques to interpret key points from gathered data.
Extracted and assessed data from databases to drive improvement of product development and business strategies and processes.
Set up SQL database on cloud servers to store client data for query analysis.
