Work History

Quality/Calibration Technician

PCC Aerostructures - Walden's Machine
01.2008 - Current
  • 2008-2011 Started my employment with Walden's Machine as PID clerk. Responsibilities were to inspect parts for damage, perform minor touch up to damaged parts if needed, identify and label parts, and prepare them for shipping to customers.
  • 2011-2016: Quality/Receiving Inspection: Inspect incoming parts by comparing vendor processes to purchase order requirements. Verifying processes were performed to latest customer and industry revisions. Visual inspection of parts for damage along with mechanical checks to ensure specified measuring callout's were met. Ensure COC's were correct and coordinate with management and vendors to have inaccurate COC's or processes corrected.
  • 2016 -Present: Quality/Calibration/Gage-Technician Level 2: Ensure all measuring tools are pulled and calibrated according to calibration schedule. Coordinating with vendors and area supervisors to schedule on-site calibration to limit impact to daily production. Maintain records of all calibrated tooling including actual measurements obtained during calibration, noting failures and repairs if necessary in calibration log and keeping COC's easily accessible for auditing purposes. Perform customer tooling inventories per customer requests. Maintain logs and records of customer furnished tooling. Serve as a servicing agent to various areas of production by purchasing tools needed to inspection new parts in development or to meet the requirements of engineering changes which would result in new (or added) inspection methods.

· Outside of work I enjoy art. I've recently started exploring the world of 2D animation and am in the process of creating my own story based off of a comic book I created a few years back. In addition to animation, I have also started exploring the world of 3D printing.
