- After almost 2 years on the floor I was Moved to the control room for 3.5-4 years and learned all the positions in control
- SIM-You're in control of the unload and keeping track of what's coming in, what's going to miss, and parking the unload
ASX- Which was the automated sorter control and you build the destination if trailers, controlling the trailer splits, and parking the outbound
HMI-You are keeping track off all the cameras and jams calling them out to others so they can break them and mainly there to keep the building alive when it gets hot
- A couple months in Control and I got promoted to the Control Room Specialist which entails me being the primary simulator, coming in early and getting volume planned on excel everyday for the all the full time supervisors and managers so they could use for their meeting to plan the night
- I also trained numerous people within the control for SIM and ASX
