I worked at Green Dragon as a groundskeeper for nearly a year, where I developed a strong work ethic and learned the importance of reliability, customer interaction, and organization in a fast-paced environment. I also learned how to work in different kinds of environments, including hot summers, cold winters, and rainy days. I left this position to attend college and focus on advancing my education. After enrolling, I began working for the City of Lancaster at StreetPlus, where I am currently employed. In this role, I have gained experience working as part of a team, following safety procedures, and completing tasks efficiently while maintaining public spaces and supporting city operations. To further my career goals, I enrolled at Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology, where I pursued formal training in Cabinetmaking. Through this program, I developed hands-on skills in woodworking, machine operation, joinery, finishing, and project planning. My education strengthened my attention to detail and problem solving abilities, while also giving me a solid foundation in professional shop practices. I also consider myself a fast learner, and with these skills I could work in almost any job, including cabinetmaking, carpentry, finish carpentry, furniture making, millwork, shop fabrication, woodworking machine operation, installation work, general construction, and landscaping.
