Detail-oriented individual with strong skills in physical labor, communication, and teamwork. Proficient in managing tasks such as landscaping and home projects, ensuring quality outcomes through attention to detail.
I have had a lot of opportunity to work with my dad, my grandparents, and family friends to learn and complete tasks working with hand and power tools. Projects worked on include fence building, house framing, landscaping, cutting firewood building cedar planters, sanding furniture, painting, pressure washing, and garden tilling.
My tasks in helping to take care of our family's one acre property include mowing grass, weedwacking, leaf blowing, watering plants, and pulling weeds. I am sure to take my time to carefully and meticulously help maintain the grass and other areas in our yard. I have been in charge of mowing for four years.
My tasks as a babysitter for my siblings and family friends include but are not limited to ensuring childrens' safety, preparing meals and cleaning up afterward, potty training, reading and playing games, homework assistance, and bedtime help. I have also organized outings such as picnics at the local park.
I have had many opportunities to volunteer in the community with YoungLife, including preparing and serving food to at risk families in my community. I have also been in charge of planning and fundraising to make money for my own summer camp tuition. Fundraising efforts have included making and selling muffins and flower bouquets, as well as spreading bark and cutting wood.
I received a certificate at Puyallup High School for Excellence in Interpersonal and Social Skills.
