• Assisted kindergarten–1st grade children with activities, snacks, and lessons in a church setting
• Supported engagement and participation during group activities and playtime
• Helped maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment for young children
• Transitioned to working with toddlers (19 months–2 years old) at age 10
• Provided close supervision and hands-on assistance with activities, snacks, and playtime
• Monitored children carefully to ensure safety and respond to individual needs
• Demonstrated patience and attention to detail while supporting early development
• Promoted to Service Support role at age 13, overseeing classroom operations, check-in, and first-time guest experience
• Assisted adult leaders to ensure smooth functioning of all “All Kids” classrooms
• Helped manage and support an average of 150 children each Sunday
• Demonstrated leadership, responsibility, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment

I serve twice monthly in Service Support (2 services per Sunday) and twice monthly in the nursery (1 service per Sunday).

The purpose of my internship was to learn different aspects of ministry within the kids department. During this time, I planned and helped lead multiple events, attended weekly chapels, and participated in meetings with staff members. I also read three books to grow in my understanding of ministry and leadership. At the end of the internship, I had the opportunity to speak on a panel in front of my church, sharing what I learned.
