Worked with a team of artists and care workers to construct artistic projects in the Domestic Worker population of Crown Heights to encourage creative expression, community building, and to publicly expand the legacy of DWU and its activist mission. Used my artistry and leadership skills to:

  • Build networks within the arts industry through active participation in professional organizations or networking events.
  • Increase community engagement by organizing public art events and discussion panels.
  • Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to develop new ideas or improve existing ones.
  • Collaborate with other artists on various art projects and installations.

  • Developed and facilitated lesson plans about theatre, culture, community and activism for New York City children ranging from age 6-18. Taught classes how to understand their own unique intersections/ identity, identify themes, and construct & perform scenes and stories from their experiences as well as from events both modern & historical in front of an audience.
  • Devised and performed original material with ensemble of actors and director in the form of scenes, movement, and characters for award-nominated streaming play, "The In Between of Fullness".
