I am a dedicated Communication Disorders student at Marshall University with a passion for helping others find their voice and reach their full potential. Working at Childs-Place Daycare since 2022 gave me hands-on experience supporting children’s communication and social development, and it was during that time that I discovered my calling to work in the field of speech-language pathology. Through my involvement in the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA), I have built leadership skills and a deeper understanding of how communication connects people and strengthens communities. These experiences have strengthened my commitment to a career in speech-language pathology, where I can continue helping others build confidence and connection through communication.
