Learning Assistant of the Year
I went above and beyond the standard responsibilities of a LA (Learning Assistant) through prepping studying material, working overtime hours in support of students, and engaging students with personally designed learning tools. The expectations of a LA is to help students learn academic material presented to them and work one-on-one to better help understand the material. Given some of my unique efforts, my students excelled in their courses and nominated me to LA of the year as well as the instructors associated with the courses.
