There is not a single applicant in any field that wouldn't describe themselves as "hardworking", "talented", or "exceptional". The recruiter reading this resume has likely seen hundreds upon thousands of near-identical applications promising the same things. I do not aim to tell you that I am diligent, intelligent, or sharp. My Academic Excellence as shown in the resume should be plenty to prove those things. I do believe, however, that there are two types of people: those who dream, and those who do. When I apply for a position, it is my utmost priority to do the task as efficiently as possible. I believe it is better to do something correctly once than incorrectly a thousand times. Especially in the medical field, the most annoying patient couldn't possibly evoke a negative response from me. The most grueling work couldn't earn a single bead of my sweat. I have dealt with a very large family of small children for as long as I can remember, and my patience for all things has reached infinite proportions. I aim to be a dentist in the future, and there is no room for error in the medical field. Patients have a great deal of trust in medical staff, and I do not intend to betray that trust. I am known to be an amiable, patient, and open-minded individual. As an applicant, I am here to work. I am here to learn. I will not ask you to take a "chance" on me. That would be both an unfair demand towards you and a gross underestimation of myself. There is no chance. There is, however, a sincere guarantee that whatever you wish to find in an applicant, you will find in abundance within me. If you seek water, I am the ocean. Nice to meet you.
