Job Summary:As a Sales Associate in the Plumbing Department, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their plumbing-related inquiries, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized department, restocking shelves, and processing customer transactions.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing products and their applications is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and move heavy merchandise.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.

Working Conditions:The role involves standing for extended periods, lifting heavy items, and working in a fast-paced retail environment. Flexibility in work hours, including weekends and evenings, may be required.

• Maintained quality standards by performing thorough final inspections of packed shipments before loading onto trucks.
• Moved merchandise using forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks.
• Streamlined packing process with the implementation of a systematic approach to organizing and preparing shipments.
• Conducted regular inventory checks to track and account for products properly.
• Demonstrated flexibility during peak seasons by working extended hours or weekends when necessary.
• Moved cardboard, plastic ties, and other debris from unboxing to trash.
