● As part of the special education team at one of PAUSD's middle schools, I support specific students behaviorally and academically with school work, social skills, and building confidence and independence.
● I collaborate with teachers and specialists to follow a student's individual educational and behavioral plan for their school year to ensure best practices.

● I prepared and implemented student intervention plans and lessons for a small group of fifth graders focusing primarily on vocabulary and comprehension reading skills as well as test preparation, community building, and socio-emotional learning skills.
● Collaborated with teachers, school staff, and other City Year staff to assist with and coordinate classroom support, testing and test preparation, school and other community events in Cureton Elementary School.
● Lead an after-school program providing homework support as well as presenting whole-class instruction based on the STEAM learning model and other recreational programming.
