Maintain a clean facility, and keep a professional image to represent the company.

Keep track of tank levels, tickets, inspections, and a clean flow line.

  • Filter Replacement:

Daily, inspect the filter pot that has six filter canisters to keep a consistent flow of production water to drop tank levels as fast as possible, to keep water haulers commuting in and out of the facility.

Dirty filters were to be taken out and dumped into a roll-off bin that would be hauled off once a month.

  • Tank levels:

Monitor tank levels via SCADA, or on the tank monitor.

Check the viscosity levels of the fluid in the pits.

Pump "sweeps" to keep the hole being drilled out as clean as possible.

  • Tripping pipe coming out.

Put the derrick climbing harness, counter-weight cable, and safety restraint line on, and ascend the derrick.

Walk onto the monkey board and swap your SRL from the ladder to the board SRL.

When all the pipe has been run in the hole, walk over to the ladder and swap the SRL, put on the counterweight, and descend the derrick to adjust the standpipe valves to get ready to continue drilling operations.

  • Laying Down Pipe.

Rig up, lay down crew, adjust blocks and elevators to come out laying down, and hang the mud bucket to catch the excess fluid that comes out of each joint being broken off.

On the ground, line up pipe racks with a forklift to catch joints of pipe that roll off the lay-down machine's bucket.

Pick up joints of pipe in groups, and organize them in stacks.

  • Moving the rig.
