• I divide my time between picking orders for deliveries as efficiently as possible and organizing/putting away received inventory using a standing fork lift, manual and powered pallet jacks and other bucket style lifts.

• I worked with my manager and Chef to organize the tasks for each day, and then delegated to myself and my associates those tasks throughout the day as the situation required.
• Ordered, organized, and put away all incoming deliveries, and counted inventory every month on all products.
• Supervised the training of new associates, sometimes doing it myself, or if I felt someone else did it better, delegating it to them.
• Conducted interviews with prospective candidates and followed up with them throughout the hiring process.
• Had and encouraged a positive work attitude

I worked with my fellow shift leaders to organize the department and staff for maximum efficiency. This included:

-scheduling

-identifying problems and finding solutions

-ordering, receiving and organizing product

-training associates on individual tasks

-maintaining cleanliness in the department

-and having and encouraging a positive attitude in myself and my team.
