I mainly did oil changes, brake jobs and occasionally shocks and spark plugs. This also entailed to clean the shop with being the new guy. This job was my first mechanical job, so it helped me gain a certain level of experience with working on cars/trucks.
This job consisted of helping costumers with bags of animal feed and sometimes merchandise in the store. The warehouse is where I worked, and it had me moving bags of animal feed, building wheelbarrows and restocking shelves. I obtained my forklift license to stock the racks with pallets of feed.
The work site would vary depending on how long the project would take. The type of work ranged from working with sod to laying pavers and bluestone for a patio. It also consisted of blowing leaves, shrub removal and weed whacking. This was also a seasonal job due to school during the week.
At this company, I would assist costumers to their car with their carts and help unload their purchases, as well as load bags of mulch/soil for them. This was a seasonal job during the school year.
