Owen Flaherty

I worked primarily as a cashier, self-checkout attendant and in-store shopper. In this role it was my responsibility to assist customers in the store, listen to and respond to their concerns and create a positive environment. I also helped to maintain a clean and organized sales floor, enhancing the shopping experience for customers.

In this role I assisted with events and trained new volunteers, helping to create a positive team environment. On top of this I maintained a volunteer schedule to help things run smoother.

I spent most of my time here working in the grill area, where I was in charge of fulfilling customer orders, cleaning and maintaining my station, and training new hires. This position allowed me to practice leadership skills and gave me valuable communication experience.
