Work History

Facilities Specialist

02.2024 - Current

For over a year I have worked at a sports club by my house. I specialized in

  • Equipment Maintenance
  • Equipment Repair
  • Maintaining golf Fairways and Greens
  • Organization
  • General Repairs

I could work every job in that place. My main job was on the facilities team. But there were times where I would fill in at the golf desk, front desk, create systematic documents on operations, special project managing, and others.

This job gave me wonderful life skills and strengthened my ability to work with others.

I couldn't decide whether I wanted to add this in or not. My father owns a small business which he took over from my grandpa. 50 years ago a young man by the name of Dan Bentley joined the Janes Gypsum Floors team working for my grandpa. He rarely missed a day of work, always was on time, and took care of his equipment like it was his own. Fast forward to 2007. I was born. My dad would bring me into the office to show me off and Dan was always there to say hi to me. As long as I could remember I would go into the office and Dan was always there to talk. Whatever you needed you could bring to him. In July 2023 he was diagnosed with Bone Cancer in his hip and Lung Cancer. He was a tough man and took care of himself as long as he could. In September 2023 I started to go to his house almost every day, while he was bed ridden, and help him with anything he needed. He was a great man. I was by his side all the way until the end. I miss him every day, but the experience he gave me made me into the young man I am today. I will forever be grateful for that.
