• Piedmont (RN)- Assess patients' health status by gathering histories, performing physical exams, and monitoring vital signs. Administer medications, IV fluids, and treatments as prescribed. Perform and assist with diagnostic tests and procedures. Monitor and document patients' conditions, reporting any changes to physicians. Educate patients and families about health conditions, medications, and treatments. Advocate for patients' right, needs, and safety. Support patients emotionally and address their concerns with compassion. Delegate task to appropriate support staff.
• WellStar (Nurse Extern)- Assisting registered nurses (RNs) in providing direct patient care. Monitoring and recording vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate. Assisting with various clinical procedures under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals. Administering basic medical treatments as directed. Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient records. Documenting patient observations and care activities. Adhering to ethical standards and maintaining patient confidentiality.
