I attended the Air Traffic Basics and Initial Tower Cab courses at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Academy in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The training covered included but was not limited to: Basic Aviation Knowledge including the fundamentals of flight, weather navigation charts, the pilot's environment and Air Traffic procedures along with multiple knowledge checks, end-of-lesson test and block tests. Basic Air Traffic Separation and services including issuing clearance to pilot, and providing separation between aircraft. Basic Air traffic Knowledge with academics and simulation.
