• "Best Rate Of Gain" award. In Spring of 2023 I raised a Turkey for 4-H and sold it through the "Colombia County Youth Livestock Auction" that summer. The "Best Rate Of Gain" award is given to the 4-H'er who most effectively raised their animal to the "Qualifying Fair Weight".

• Over the Spring and Summer of 2023 I raised a 231lb Hog and a 33lb Turkey to show at the Columbia County Fair & Rodeo. Following that, I sold them both in the Columbia County Youth Livestock Auction.
• Through that experience I learned valuable lessons, such as:
• Sales: Learning to build trust with my customers by knowing as much as possible about my product, giving quick responses, answering questions and overall personability with existing and potential customers.
• Marketing: How to market my product in a way that will make people want to know more about myself and the product that I am selling.
• General Skills such as: Responsibility, Reliability and Work Ethic.
