Sunflower Award
I received the Sunflower award March 2025 from an Oncology Patient. He was recently diagnosed with Brain cancer and wanted to just walk around outside. After collaborating with my Charge Nurse, House Supervisor, and the Physician, I was able to safely take him outside so he could get fresh air and alleviate some anxiety. It was something little in my mind but it meant the world to him. I will never forget that Patient nor will I ever forget the feeling of being recognized.
