- Responsibilities include: Oversee design team dedicated to the respective categories
- Direct development of bath and rug designs appropriate for following retailers: Costco, Walmart, BJ’s, Kohls, Burlington, HomeGoods, Ross, Home Depot (U.S.), Canada and Mexico market
- Work closely with the Welspun owned brand design teams of Martha Stewart, Scott Living, Coco Cozy and Peter Som
- Review CADs to comply with manufacturing limitations and cost parameters
- Meet with customer representatives from key accounts to ascertain their needs and relay to the factory
- Create and implement systems to facilitate communication between U.S
- Customers and Welspun’s factories
- Oversee and direct the designs for seasonal introductions, including beach, back-to-school and event marketing (holidays - Christmas, Halloween, etc.) Develop products for twice-annual Home Textile Market introductions in order to attract new customers
- Work closely with the Merchandising team in the US and India and Product Development in the factories to execute high quality products
- Work closely with Vice President of Design and Head of Sales in developing assortment based on sales objectives and customer needs.
