• I have worked at Providence Neurological Specialties for nearly 3 years. I came in at an entry level position, working as a Patient Services Specialist (PSS) for roughly 6 months before I was promoted to an Embedded Patient Representative (PRS) Specialist and became a part of the scheduling team embedded amongst the clinical/medical staff. I worked as a PRS for 1 year before being promoted to the Care Coordination role of Patient Liaison. This current role requires that I be vigilant in my time management as it holds me responsible for the completion and staging of paperwork/forms/letters for 10+ providers, whom each have patient/case loads in the hundreds. This in conjunction with being able to accurately and promptly communicate with both patient and provider.

• This is a family business which I have previously assisted with on an as-needed basis.
• This is my father's new company, and during the time of the COVID-19 lockdowns, and since my school enrollment, I was able to help him out at a few major job sites of his and became really comfortable in completing tasks independently.
• I was taught the proper way of handling and maneuvering materials in a safe way so as not to injure myself or my fellow employees.

• This was a geriatric care facility with varying levels of healthcare needs, including an in-facility dementia care unit, roughly consisting of 20 patients at a time. I was gradually led into the role of running a floor assigned to me, assisting/performing care tasks (such as wound dressing and cognitive function testing), medication distribution passes, general daily charting/documenting, as well as aiding and facilitating the healthcare team with communication and updates in the form of bi-daily meetings held at the beginning and end of each scheduled shift day.
• Administered medications and treatments according to established protocols.
• Assisted in monitoring patient vital signs and reporting changes to healthcare team.
• Implemented infection control measures to ensure patient safety and compliance.

• I began working at Starbucks while I was still in nursing school as a supplementary source of income to the hours of internships and classes. What I've gained from this job, although not in the scope of work I intend to pursue, is how to actively problem solve, work under pressure as an individual and a team, as well as the importance of active listening and people skills.
• This job is directly impacted by one's time management skills, job accuracy, and safe practices in the work environment, which I feel has directly changed both for myself in my day-to-day lifestyle, to not work with haste, but with intention.

The sterilization and general cleanliness of the clinic area and the instruments used in the clinic for the daily patient load of roughly 80-90+ patients daily.
