Hi I’m Parker, I’m a passionate and energetic worker who enjoys bringing a smile to guest faces everyday. My favorite part about the restaurant industry reaches from learning how to prepare new and exciting culinary dishes, to tasting them, Discussing them with guest, and eventually making them myself. I spend a lot of my free time cooking homemade meals and trying new things so I’ve always had a passion for talking about food and recommending people meals that are acquired to them.
At Hot N Cajun boil house I worked preparing guest for seafood boils by setting them up with bibs, gloves, wet wipes, crab claws, and a waste bucket for shells. I would check on my guest frequently to change their waste bag and ensure a clean eating space. I would also take the meals to the guest and open the boil bags directly in front of them for presentation.
Here I worked for Pier 424 on bourbon street selling various Cajun/creole dishes and seafood boils. I would handle up to 6 or 7 tables at a time and I also worked my first Mardi Gras here. I frequently worked waiting tables in the upstairs balcony where I would make trips up and down the flight of stairs to serve our guest.
At FedEx I worked in a warehouse loading packaging onto delivery trucks overnight. I would take packages from a conveyor belt and put them where belong on the truck after loading them onto the delivery route.
At Panera bread I began working in the restaurant industry by preparing salads and sandwiches for customers. I would also prepare takeout orders and occasionally work as a cashier. It was here that I began tending to customers needs so they have a quality dining experience.
