I am a motivated pharmacist and PhD candidate specializing in preclinical cardiovascular research, with a focus on rodent models of heart failure and the improvement of mitochondrial bioenergetics. Throughout my PhD training, I have embraced every opportunity to broaden my scientific skill set, gaining hands-on experience in both in vivo and in vitro methodologies to support future translational research. This journey has also strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively, communicate scientific ideas, and think critically. I’ve learned to approach problems with curiosity, ask meaningful questions, and write with clarity and precision. Additionally, I’ve been fortunate to develop my mentoring skills by teaching and guiding junior trainees—an experience that has affirmed my passion for training and inspiring the next generation of scientists.
