Capstone Project: DigiClips Podcast STT Integration

  • Worked in a team of 8 under the sponsorship of DigiClips to develop and enhance radio and podcast transcription services for the website.
  • distributed tasks, created and updated tasks and user stories on taiga. provided all challenges/progress weekly ro sponsors.
  • Created a service that processes podcast audio using an existing speech-to-text (STT) implementation, then stores the transcribed data in a SQL database.
  • Designed and created the database schema based on semantic meaning and relevant keys for efficient data retrieval.
  • Built a conversion tool using FFmpeg to process Spotify podcast audio into a format optimized for STT processing.
  • Acted as main point of contact with project sponsors: communicated weekly progress, broke down upcoming goals, and assigned tasks to team members during SCRUM.
