  • As the only in office CSR I acted as a point of contact for clients both residential/title and builder via the main phone line. As well when the receptionist needed assistance with upset clients or more difficult questions I am the one who handled those.
  • As the sole builder dept CSR I answered all emails for the builder dept inbox.
  • I also entered all builder dept jobs
  • Answered clients questions about their surveys, questions about surveys they may need during their building process and explain the function of each survey.
  • I did all the builder dept quoting(except acreage, and clients that had set pricing).
  • For over a year I was responsible for all the builder dept research. Close to 5,000 jobs in stars have my name on them as the researcher
  • I have also now learned/memorized several different city/county’s requirements for their survey such as Colin country requiring slope of drive on their forms and Greenville requiring fill grade shown in their forms and top of curb as well as centerline. Also several different builders survey preferences.
  • I took payments over the phone and also helped with AR billing as well as applying checks/ach payments to net 30 clients.
  • I set appointments with clients, and coordinated with clients and crews on access issues that were “live” in the field.
  • I communicated with the drafters, checkers, and techs in my dept to keep important/rush jobs on time as well as explain clients concerns or corrections.
  • I also processed all client CAD files for both residential and builder.
  • Set up client accounts and filled out vendor forms and proposals.
  • Went to after hours events(gold tournaments, happy hours, etc.) to promote our business as well as mingle with clients.
  • Anything on the front end from the clients initial contact with the company through to the finished survey delivered I have handled. I had also started to learn drafting in order to correct minor issues such as typos, or extra house/fence ties, and other similar things such as those to cut down on clients wait time and drafters work load.
  • Also for the last two weeks of my employment I was responsible for not only Burns phones and orders but as well Rhodes as we “merged” into one company I had 2 phones at my desk and 2 different emails and stars going as well.
  • I also trained 4 other girls in the front end who came behind me either as receptionist or CSR and helped create a training system as their was none when I was hired.
