Though I can’t pinpoint every event I had helped with throughout my work experience each was unique and I always gave it my all.
The day before catering my first wedding I prepped all the food, cutting cleaning and packaging. The day off I helped prepare and display all the food as well as set the tables and chairs to my bosses standards. After the wedding I made sure the finger foods were properly stocked when running low as well as make sure the small bar was stocked with ice and other needed garnishes.
On a separate occasion I helped plan a friends wedding details, this included taking into account the brides requests to find a bachelorette party Airbnb, research bridal shops that met her requirements, acquired a seamstress, and finally tirelessly searched for the perfect venue in the little time frame of two months.
Finally my most memorable experience was my sister-in-laws wedding. Not only was I a bridesmaid but also a photographer throughout getting ready and every photo after walking down the aisle. The day before I set every chair, decorated and set the last details for the bride. The morning of I steamed every bridesmaid dress, the wedding dress and the grooms tux’s. I made sure the music was ready to go and the systems were working well. It was the hard work but such an amazing experience.
Through my time working for a dear family friend I was a nanny to a 3 year old boy and 10 month old baby girl, my job required me to be a safe and reliable care taker. From preparing meals to creating activities, I took this responsibility with the upmost care. The family had to move states so I was unable to care for them further.
