As Director of Healthy Homes and Health Services, I oversee and manage MAAC's ESA contract with San Diego Gas and Electric and LIHEAP, DOE, CARE, ARPA, and LIWAP contracts with Community Services and Development.

I oversee contracts with the County of San Diego Health and Human Services for MAAC's two recovery homes and the Driving Under the Influence Program.

I am the Contract Representative for our San Diego Gas and Electric contract and I represent MAAC at the LIHEAP Providers meetings and the County DUI Providers meetings.




Two of my major accomplishments are collaborating with San Diego Housing Commission and Environmental Health Coalition to develop a HUD funded Lead Hazard Control Program. The following year, I collaborated with Environmental Health Coalition and the City of National City in an additional HUD funded Lead Hazard Control program.




Another accomplishment that I am proud of was my involvement with the Weatherization and Energy Efficient Rehabilitation Program. Through this CSD program, we trained fifty-two young adults for the California Conservation Corps and the Urban Corp. We referred several for jobs and MAAC employed eleven of these young adults in our Weatherization department.
