I love to garden and I thought it would be fun to plant with the afterschool kids. I was able to get permission to start an afterschool garden plot in our school garden. I was able to get school funds to buy the strawberry plants and cucumber seeds. The kids loved getting the plot ready, planting, weeding and of course eating what we planted..
