48 hour on call weekend position providing scheduled and on call visits for patients at end of life. Responsibilities include screening new referrals for eligibility alongside the Medical Director, supporting facility staff and family members with education surrounding end of life symptoms and emotional support. Work closely with Medical Director and interdisciplinary team to carry out plans of care to provide best practices and quality outcomes. Received certification in Hospice and Palliative Nursing 12/2025.

Responsible for oversight of all nursing care while maintaining state and federal guidelines. Present for multiple state surveys and follow up plans of care. Bedside nursing as needed to provide adequate staffing. Interviewed, hired and onboarded new nursing staff as well as developing personal plans for improvement as needed. Directly worked with physicians and other clinicians in developing individualized plans of care. Led QUAPI meeting and played an active role in Infection Prevention.

2009 DON overseeing 61 bed skilled/LTC facility. Responsible for all aspects of nursing care, hiring and promoting nursing professionals as well as retaining staff. Participated in 5 state surveys with multiple deficiency free surveys. Led QAPI meeting as was active in safety, food service and facility maintenance committees.

2013 Resident Care Director of buildings 804 and 805 licensed bed facility with an 85 bed capacity. Performed patient assessments (previously RAT now CARE) upon admission and quarterly. Worked closely with marketing doing tours and calculating fiscal viability of each potential resident. Stayed abreast of any changes in RSA's to provide continuous best practices. Participated in annual inspections with multiple deficiency free findings. Coordinated with life enhancement team to develop and implement events, trips and presentations for residents well as staff.

2018 Chief Clinical Officer of all of Presidential Oaks overseeing physicians, therapists and other vendors such as mental health providers, podiatry and dental services. Assisted in all licensed areas of the campus to promote quality outcomes. Developed an end of life unit with dedicated specific end of life trained staff.
